Now that the Squid experiment is over I was looking through Dropbox and found all the shit that I thought was too shit to release. Consider yourselves human refuse stations because this is just the junk we're throwing out.

it mainly includes demos of songs that just never made the cut (imagine how shit they would be). I kinda liked "Harpoons, Guns & Knives"it was probably the only story song I wrote. It was about an old whaling ship encountering a giant squid.

Other songs like "Monkey See, Monkey Do" and "Money Go Round" (a reggae styled song) never made it to the practice room for some reason.

"I Believe" and "Vertigo" were probably the last two songs I wrote for the Squids. we played "Vertigo" a couple of time live and "I Believe" was just too late to make the mix.

"Ghost City" we played at nearly every gig but never recorded a decent version of it and "Cease & Desist" I think we played live once (at Vernes 50th Birthday, our first gig) but we could never get it right live.

There are also a couple of Xmas songs we did for Tauranga Music Sux to help with fundraising (we probably raised around $6 for Woodcock) and 6 of my favourite covers, two of them we used to play live, Pull down The Shades and Millionaires.
